Tiger Woods is now in rehab for minor surgery on his knee. There is no definite time for his return to th tour, but I would assume he will not miss any Majors.
I think the time that Tiger is away from the tour is good for us fans.
We won't have to watch as the commentators wipe the drool off their faces every time tiger walks by.
We won't have to hear "Tiger's on the Prowl" so everybody else is shaking in their golf shoes.
How about the contest every time Tiger steps up to the tee box. Who can yell "Get in the Hole" first. It dosen't matter if he shanks it into the woods or not just be a moron and yell "Get in the Hole"
Maybe when Joe Tour Player hits a nice shot and lands the ball 10' from the hole from 200+ yards out, the commentators will have more to say than, "Nice shot, but would have been better on the downside of the hole" They say that so they can say "Whoo hooo hooo, just where he wanted to put it, can't ask for any better than that." When Tiger Woods puts it in a greenside bunker or a good 75' away on a large green.
How about the leader board that is in the bottom of Your TV screeen that has the top 5 names on it, unless, of course, Tiger Woods is not in the top 5 positions. I have seen that board grow to 13 names just so Tiger Woods' name is on TV, forget that I could not see the hole during a putt, I need to see Tiger Woods on the leader board.
I love to watch Tiger play golf, and I hope he is back on the tour soon. But, I will enjoy watching the game a little more while he is away.

Amen! How about a little "shout" out for Anthony Kim for putting on a clinic in Charlotte. At least for the last round the camera guys stopped govelling after Phil and paid a little attention to the REAL story. Congrats to Kim! Maybe now NIKE will sell "AK" belt buckles???
